About the Author

Denise Davies has over 20 years of experience helping clients in the planning and designing of information systems, training, business consulting, project management, customer management and proposal development. As co-founder of Aleph Inc. (1996), she has consulted with a broad spectrum of businesses and organizations to plan, design and implement effective Internet projects. She has lived and worked in over 10 countries.

Denise has an MLIS from the University of Hawaii, and prior to working in the Internet Sector was an Information Systems Consultant working with special libraries and training institutions, developing specialized database applications and training staff.  Her first profession was as a teacher and still finds that in all projects the training and documentation component is an important part of successful implementation.

She has presented workshops and seminars for SBA, SCORE, Volunteer Center Orange County and NAWBO sponsored e-Commerce seminars for small businesses and nonprofits.  Topics include Internet strategy, Internet marketing and e-Commerce planning. In the corporate business sector, Denise has worked in a large variety of industries to develop effective corporate and business Internet projects including medical/healthcare, manufacturing, small business, consulting, education, technology and media companies.  She writes online articles, blogs, electronic newsletters and manages website content for several businesses and organizations and has authored a previous eBook “Internet Strategies for Nonprofits”
